The Studio

The Banyan studio is located at 2000 Reynolds Ave. #103 in North Charleston — a few minutes from Park Circle in one direction, a few minutes from Downtown Charleston in the other.

From the moment you walk in, the environment is designed with one thing in mind: helping you feel at ease. Private sessions mean you’ll never share your time with another client.

Tethered shooting lets you see your images in real time on a large monitor as the session unfolds. And every detail — the lighting, the backdrops, the pace — is calibrated to get the best out of you.

The studio occupies a beautifully restored 1930s-era building, a former corner drug store that’s been thoughtfully reimagined into a warm, professional creative space. This building sits on corner of Reynolds and Ottawa Avenues.

While the studio space is located on the first floor of the building on Reynolds Avenue, one can also enter from the parking lot that sits behind the building

Front Entrance

The main entrance to the studio is located on Reynolds Avenue, immediately opposite the St. Matthew Baptist Church. Look for Suite 103 on the glass door. Ring the doorbell.

Rear Access

If coming from the gated parking area, you can choose to enter the studio from the rear access door, located under the stairway to the 2nd floor. Look for Suite 103. Ring the doorbell.

• On-street parking is freely available on Reynolds Ave, or to the side of the building on Ottawa Avenue. If the space in front of the studio is available, feel welcome to park there.
• Off-street parking is available during the day (and before 6:00pm) in a gated lot to the rear of the building.
  • There is reserved parking wherever you see a yellow sign
  • There are two reserved spots for #103.
  • Unreserved spaces are available furthest away from the building.
